AutoSave automatically saves your working file to protect unexpected loss. You can set the intervals of AutoSave to work in Preference: Open and Save.
Use Effect: Photographic - Star Filter to add star-like glitters to your image's bright areas.
Use Object: Match Background Color to seamlessly blend an object into it's background that possesses similar color information.
Use Effect: Blur - Flatten Uneven Areas to blend stitched edges of two different images.
Use Effect: Blur - Edge Preserving Blur to smoothen areas without affecting sharpness of edges.
Create animated GIFs that simulate falling snow, spreading clouds, rising bubbles, and more using Effect: Creative - Particle Effect.
Use the Texture Fill Tool in the Tool Panel or drag a texture preset from the EasyPalette to change your image background.
You can store up to 99 selections in the Selection Manager.
In Crop Tool, select Shield Cropped Area on the Attribute Toolbar to cover the image parts outside the crop region. You can choose the color shield that you want to use from the Ulead Color Picker.
Adjust the document printout size by clicking and dragging the document handles.
Change the printout order by dragging and dropping thumbnails in the Print Multiple (File: More Print Function - Print Multiple) workspace.
Use the Rectangle Slice Tool to slice your Web page quickly and conveniently.
Select the Slice Tool, then right click an object and select Slice Around Object to snap a slice cell snugly around the object.
To select multiple slice cells, hold down [Ctrl] and select cells with the Pick Tool.
Export your Web page to FrontPage: go to File: Save for Web - As HTML. Select Export to Microsoft FrontPage.
Hold down [Ctrl] or [Shift] while clicking a swatch or gradient to select more than one.
Use Edit Active Objects Only to paint or modify active objects that are overlapped by other objects.
While browsing through the menu, highlight the command you wish to look up and press [F1] for a detailed description.
Convert a folder of images to any file format or any data type by using File: Batch Convert.
Adjust images that are too dark by using Format: Equalize.
Select multiple objects by clicking the desired object while holding down the [Shift] or [Ctrl] key.
Accelerate Web page loading by dividing an image into smaller pieces and fine-tuning the output setting of each cell, simply use the Slice Tool on the Tool Panel.
Combine two opened images by using Edit: Stitch.
Right-click on any Gallery thumbnail to find more available features in PhotoImpact.
Create a duplicate object by pressing [Ctrl] while dragging the object.
Fill an image with a tiled object by pressing [L] while dragging the object to the document.
Make a selection on an image to use it as a mask in another image by pressing [M] while dragging the selection.
Minimize misalignment from a straight line when trying to move objects horizontally or vertically by pressing the [Shift ]key while dragging.
Display any region of the image without using the scrollbars by clicking the Global Viewer icon, located on the lower right hand corner of the edit window.
Invoke the Global Viewer window by pressing [G].
Show or hide all toolbars and panels by pressing [Tab].
Keep the Visual Open dialog box available for use after opening a file by clicking the thumbtack at the upper right hand corner of the window.
Draw straight lines with the Spline Tool by pressing the [Ctrl] key while drawing.
Select all paths and objects created with the Path Tool while in Continue Draw Mode by pressing [Shift+Ctrl+A]. Note: You must have another object in your workspace.
Text, font and style settings of Text objects cannot be modified after applying Object: Convert Object Type - Text/Path Object.
